Deciding on the right Branded Apparel for your business can be a nightmare. However, buying branded apparel for your employees can have a positive impact on several aspects of your business.

Here are the reasons why branded apparel is positive for business

1. Foster Connections Between Employees

Whether they’re walking down the hall at the office or working a booth at a trade show, they know their own by the clothes they wear. This creates an “in-crowd” among your employees that fosters teamwork, coordination, and connection.

2. Prevent Dress Code Violations and Disputes

It’s human nature to bend rules — often until they break. Dress codes serve as a frequent source of controversy from grade school to Fortune 500 companies. Uniform apparel eliminates dress code violations and disputes because everyone wears the same thing.

3. Establish Your Company Culture

Do you run a wacky, eclectic, and colorful retail store? Do you run a buttoned-down or fast paced

business? These questions will have a big influence your company or business apparel.

4. Help Employees Save Money

When you buy your employees decorated apparel, you eliminate that expense.

5. Increase Workplace Security

At medium- and large-sized businesses, your employees probably don’t know everyone else who works for you. Uniforms allow workers to instantly realize that someone is where they don’t belong. They can notify management or security, so the problem is handled quickly and efficiently.

6. Gain Brand Exposure

Employees don’t just wear their company decorated apparel to work. They wear them to the coffee shop where they stop every morning for a caffeine fix. They wear them to their kids’ schools when they pick them up in the afternoon and to the grocery store while they shop for dinner ingredients.

If you require your employees to wear branded apparel, they’ll showcase your brand everywhere they go. Your logo and brand become more visible and more recognizable, which leads to increased positive exposure.

Being at the helm of a small to medium business requires a constant awareness of your performance, Car Wrapping advertising benefits. After all, you’re the captain of this ship. Your business performance depends on the time and effort that you put into developing your ideas.

Practically anyone with business experience will tell you, though, that some areas are critical. Efforts in these activities have a significant impact on how your company performs and grows. One such activity is brand-building. Your brand is both the way people identify your business and the reputation you cultivate.

Your car, a Car Wrapping advertising tool

You may already know that there are many ways to promote a company brand. What about some specific strategies for getting eyes on your logo and contact info?

Consider the value of turning to one of the simplest and most efficient forms of advertising: using your car as a mobile advertising tool. With tools such as vehicle advertising wraps your business visibility is increased.

Here are five Car Wrapping advertising benefits and prospers from driving wrapped vehicles.

1. Everyone in traffic you pass gets to see your brand

With a professional looking car-wrap, heads will turn in traffic to get a glimpse of your car. Individuals at stoplights behind you will see the wrap too. Even pedestrians walking along the road will notice as you pass by them. When you want to gain a lot of exposure in a short period, this is one of the best and most economical ways to do it for your business. Use your vehicle to conduct all company business. The more time you spend on the road, the more work your wrap is effectively doing.

2. Even when your car is parked, you’re gaining exposure

You don’t even need to be driving around to get eyes on your brand. In fact, part of the benefit of using a wrap is passive advertising. Remember, even as you run errands, the car is exposing information about your company to others. It’s practically free advertising at that point. Clever parking, like parking close to buildings, can ensure your brand is visible to people both entering and leaving.

3. Turn your vehicle into a mobile billboard with highway driving

For a quick and easy way to broaden your exposure across a bigger geographical area, hop on the highway. A few gallons of gasoline are a lot cheaper than radio air time or a roadside advertisement. It might seem silly at first, but think about it—what easier way to spread the word? You could wind up with some inquisitive phone calls from potential customers after taking such a drive.

4. People who see your vehicle will notice it’s a professional finish

A vehicle wrap makes any car look like a fleet vehicle. An excellent wrap doesn’t just make your company look modern. It can also make it seem larger than life, which in turn can foster a feeling of trustworthiness. People will tend to think that a company making the effort to wrap a vehicle is already well-established and doing good business.

5. It’s a permanent and very cost-effective form of long-term advertising

There’s no doubt about the exceptional ROI vehicle wraps yield to their owners. Not only that, but there’s no need to renew contracts or pay more money. Once you have applied the wrap to your car, it’s there until you choose to remove it or change the design. You don’t even need to overhaul your whole car. You can even opt for just a partial vehicle wrap. A partial wrap can accomplish the same job. It all depends on your brand’s needs.

The bottom line…

Obviously, a wrap can do a lot to benefit your brand and broaden its exposure. From its performance in traffic to its value over time, your company can experience real positive benefits. In addition to lending your business an established feeling, your wrap even helps to grow your business. The more people see your info; the more likely they are to contact you in need of your services.

Never underestimate the power of basic static advertising tools such as these. With the ability to quickly and repeatedly put your brand “out there,” it offers you an affordable way to advertise you shouldn’t ignore.

If you spend any time in marketing circles or reading about marketing, you will bump into the word “branding”. Branding is one of those concepts that is a bit vague, at least for the non-marketer small business owner. So today we’re going to look at “what is branding” from the small business perspective.

We’re also going to tackle whether branding should matter to small businesses — or whether it’s something only large corporations should or can afford to care about.

What is Branding?

There are thousands of definitions of “branding” or just plain old “brand.” One of the best definitions of brand would be “what sticks in your mind associated with a product, service, or organisation — whether, at that particular moment, you bought or did not buy.”

That seems a good informal way to describe a company’s brand. Under that definition, many things can contribute to a brand.

Does a picture pop into your mind about a company, such as its logo or colours?

Think about the logo, such as Coca-Cola — recognisable the world over, executed in its distinctive curvy script in white against red. And when you see it, do you imagine the effervescence of a Coke, the dark colour or how it tastes?

All those things may run fleetingly through your mind when you want something to drink.

So, when you ask “what is branding” — it is something that triggers associations in our minds. Branding is about creating an identity. It’s what sets one company apart from another. In short, it tells us what we can expect from that company. It’s about the perception people have of the company.

Branding (a verb) is doing those activities and communications, large and small, that create and reinforce a brand, i.e., what a company is known for.

Your brand (a noun) is all the elements that make up a brand, whether logo, packaging, colours, reputation for customer service, reputation for customising customer orders without complaint, speed, self-serve options, low price, high quality — whatever.

The Value of Branding

Brand is what creates customer loyalty. Keeps consumers loyal and buying repeatedly.

I would agree with that… but….

I’d go further. Branding is what helps a prospective buyer call to mind a company when it comes time to buy. In other words, branding also helps with awareness.

In a world of infinite choices, branding that helps people remember YOUR company is more important than ever. Today consumers have a seemingly endless choice of retailers, products and services available at their fingertips online, or at the local strip shopping centres or shopping malls.

If consumers are shopping for something, what do they do? Go to Google, where billions of Web pages and yellow page listings are available.

Not only are there many choices, but some of the decision factors that traditionally separated and defined companies are today transparent and without much difference. Take, for example, pricing. Pricing is easier to discover and compare than ever before. In certain industries there may be very little price difference.

When all prices are the same, what makes the buyer choose one over another? Nuances and qualitative factors may make the difference.

For small businesses, what sets apart the business may be factors such as high quality, craftsmanship, personalised customer service, superior knowledge to help customers make the proper product selections, and similar qualitative factors.

The challenge for some small businesses is how to get customers to think of them when it’s time to buy. You don’t want your company to be nonexistent in the customer’s mind.

And if they see your brand name in a list of competing vendors (such as in a search engine), you want your brand to be associated with positive factors that make it stand out.

Branding is not a replacement for sales or specific marketing campaigns. But branding assists and reinforces your sales and marketing efforts in important ways.

But… We Can’t Afford too

You can’t afford not to. Sure, branding can get incredibly expensive if your idea of branding is a nationwide television and print campaign. But it doesn’t need to be.

Remember, branding isn’t just for large corporations. When customers have seemingly endless choices, branding becomes a crucial competitive edge. That’s the value of branding for small businesses.

Some say are business cards still relevant? Thanks to a variety of digital alternatives, they are.

But if exchanging information digitally is so easy, why are we still hanging on to these little pieces of card?

Why do business cards still work?

Business cards don’t still exist because of some warped sense of tradition or nostalgia; it’s because they continue to add value to the networking experience.

Whether you’re at a conference, mixer or backyard BBQ, a business card allows you to easily give or receive pertinent contact information. There’s no fumbling with your smartphone or hunting down a pencil and paper. You don’t even have to break eye contact.

Business cards still relevant not only save time but allow us to focus on making genuine face-to-face connections.

And, as an extension of your brand, they can add context to help you make a longer-lasting impression.

What should you put on a business card?

Business cards today can be anything you want them to be — 3D, metal, even edible!

How creative you get depends on your industry, brand and personality.

But don’t feel like you need to reinvent the wheel (or the rectangle). The standard business card isn’t just a time-honoured tradition; it’s also practical, easier to carry and less likely to be discarded.

Regardless of design, there is certain information you should always include on your business card.

Name: How can anyone contact you if they don’t know who you are?

Job title: Make sure your title makes it clear what you do otherwise they won’t know why they should contact you.

Company name: This can give you added credibility, especially if your company is recognisable.

Email address: Make this your direct work email, not a company catch-all or a personal address.

Phone number: This should be your direct business line, not an automated company line or a line that requires going through three receptionists to finally reach you.

Website: Keep URLs short and easy to read.

Location (if applicable): Providing a location can be beneficial if you operate in the physical.

These are business card basics, but there’s no reason you can’t go above and beyond.

Consider adding the following:

Company logo: This helps associate you with your brand and makes your brand recognisable.

Personal photo: A photo makes it easier for people to match a name to a face.

Supplemental info: Taglines and mission statements help tell your story.

QR codes: These take up valuable real estate, but they can be more visually appealing than written URLs. If you use a QR code, make it count.

Social profiles: Only include a social media link if the specific outlet plays a significant role in your marketing.

The purpose of your business card is to make it easy for contacts to identify you later, long after they’ve forgotten who you are, what you do and why they should care.

Done right, your business card will not only answer those questions, but also provide a direct line of communication should the need arise.

What should you do with the business cards you collect?

It’s easy to throw a business card into a folder and forget about it. But to make it count, you need to go above and beyond the initial exchange.

Be proactive. Connect with the client on LinkedIn and add any useful information to your database.

It’s best to add information over time rather than waiting until your desk drawer is overflowing with business cards. Trust us, we know.

Once you’ve added this information to your database, use these contacts to targeted email marketing campaigns.

You wouldn’t let an unbranded email slip out to your mailing list, so why not put that same level of attention to detail into your printed communications?

Every communication your business sends out is a representation of how you want others to view you. One of the best ways to make a great impression is through personalised printed business stationery. Here’s why every small business should have stationery as part of their branding arsenal.

1. They Help Keep Your Brand Consistent

From notes to clients to business letters, all types of communications your small business sends out should be instantly recognisable as coming from you. So, make sure to use your startup’s brand guideline to help inform your design decisions!

Every letter you send out should be printed on a custom letterhead, with your company’s logo and the font you use elsewhere (on your website and marketing emails). This should match your business card design, your compliment slips and your correspondence cards. By making sure everything is consistent, it grows your brand – making you even more memorable to important correspondents and clients.

2. They Show That You Care

We know that after investing all of your time and money into it, you really do care about your business. And going to this level of attention to detail with everyday communications is the perfect way of showing off how much you really love it!

After all, a business card isn’t just a business card – it’s an significant networking tool that can help you excel. It’s also a transportable part of your startup; you can hand them out at networking events, include them in customers’ packaging and even leave them in a welcome pack or presentation folder. So, make sure people know how much you love your business by putting your all into the design.

3. They’re Easy to Design

Speaking of business stationery design… this is actually really easy to do.

So, what actually needs to go on your business stationery? A couple of elements common to all of them is your contact details and logo. A way to contact you, such as social media handles, email addresses and URLs are also useful things to include.

Your compliment slips (which usually say ‘with compliments’ on them) and correspondence cards will need room for you to write messages on, whereas letterheads need space for the printed letter, like this one here:

Here’s a little of print inspiration to get those creative juices flowing.

4. They’re Easy to Use

How to Use Letterheads

If the idea of printing letter content onto your letterheads fills you with dread, don’t worry. Just make sure that all the important information is at the top or the bottom of the letterhead. Or, if in doubt, use one of our free templates so you know the spacing is perfect for printing on.

Then, all you need to do to use the letterheads is feed them into the paper section of your home or office printer!

Please note: If you order less than 500 copies of your letterhead design, only use them with ink jet printers. If you print more than 500, you can use them with ink jet or laser printers.

How to Use Business Cards

You never know when you’ll meet a new client. By always having custom business cards to hand, you’re always prepared to network on the go. If you’re new to the world of networking, check out our guide to business card etiquette for newbies!

Or, if you’re looking for fresh new ways to distribute your cards and spread brand awareness quickly, read all about our top creative ways to hand out your business cards here.

How to Use Compliment Slips

Compliment slips are just as useful for promoting yourself as booklets or banners – but you have to use the limited space you have extremely wisely. This little slip of paper has all your important contact information on – like a business card – but, importantly, also says ‘with compliments’ followed by a handwritten note.

59% of consumers who experienced personalisation saying that it significantly influenced what they purchased, showing that that personalised experience is hugely beneficial to your business.

Add them into customers’ orders to say thank you or to your marketing catalogues to help build brand loyalty.

How to Use Correspondence Cards

When a letter is too long/formal, personalised correspondence cards make a fantastic alternative. Thank your clients, send a short note, or even use them as informal invitations.

Like compliment slips, correspondence cards help to personalise any business communications, strengthening those all-important links and relationships.5. They Make Your Business Look Professional

As a small business, one of your main focuses is making a great first impression. There’ll be plenty of people who haven’t come into contact with your brand yet, so being remembered for all the right reasons is key to growing your business.

By creating your own personalised business stationery, you’re showing that your business means business. For example, sending a letter with your own custom letterhead design along the top shows you’ve put time and effort into the communication, you’re proud of your business and you care about the recipient.

6. They Make Sure Important Clients Have Your Details to Hand

Whatever type of stationery you’re designing, there’s something you should always include: your contact details. Add your phone number and email address to business cards, your postal address on letterheads, and always include your name.

Like with any kind of print networking tool, the reason business stationery is so effective is that it’s concrete. An email can get lost in the sea of many, but an actual piece of paper is significantly harder to ignore or lose. And clients are more likely to go back to it later to find your contact details!

7. It Helps Differentiate Your Communications

In the current digital age, it’s easy for your emails to get lost. In fact, statistics show that the average office worker receives a staggering 121 emails per day.

Sending an email to thank customers for their recent purchase won’t have as big of an impact as including a handwritten compliment slip or even your business card in the packaging.

So, what are you waiting for?

How often have you been sitting in traffic, or stopped at red lights, and taken a look around you? No doubt you will see many cars adorned with business logos, slogans and contact details. Why? Because vehicle signage works. Great advertising not only makes a great impression, but a lasting one, and having your branding trawling the streets every time you pop out is a sure-fire way to be seen over and over again.

Do you have vehicle signage for your business yet? If not, here are three ways vehicle signage benefits your business that are worth considering:

1. Creative addition to your branding campaign

You can spend thousands on social media promotions, website advertising and traditional media sponsorship, but these methods are transient. While there certainly is value here, unfortunately, your brand can easily be forgotten in the sea of competing interests. Vehicle signage provides a more stable, longer-lasting impression that backs up other advertising methods and brand recognition. You can get creative in the way you present yourself to the real world, with options in vehicle signage to suit every aesthetic or budget. Anything from an eye-catching full-car wrap, one-way vision signs for windows, or a more simplified removable magnetic panel will imprint your brand into the minds of every passerby.

2. Bang for your buck

In terms of value for money, vehicle signage is king. For one outlay (which, in the scheme of thing, is pretty minimal), you have a highly-effective advertising medium that will pay dividends for years. You can potentially get thousands of impressions per day simply from going about your usual business – how great is that?! If you are a business that relies on being out on the roads a lot, such as a cleaning company, plumber or delivery service – even better. The more you travel, the wider your reach. Customers love local companies, so vehicle signage promoting your service will guarantee customer calls.

3. Good for your street cred

Well-designed vehicle signage has the added benefit of positioning your brand as one to trust. By taking the time to adorn your car with your logo and details, you appear more professional and committed to your business. This can help boost your reputation and credibility within your local area. Customers will also feel they know you and your brand better as time goes on. Be very aware of how you interact with people when you are in your branded vehicle, as it is not just the artwork they will be looking at. As a business, you represent your company at all times, so enhance the street cred effect of your decorated car with polite, friendly and helpful interactions throughout the day.

Getting your branding on your vehicle is simple. First, start with engaging a graphic designer to lay out the look and work out the dimensions. They should be able to piece together a mock up, so you can get excited about how amazing it will look. Next, your signage is printed and expertly applied to your vehicle – nothing to do on your part but wait patiently until it is time to show off your newly branded vehicle!

Wild FX Signage & Print has created this blog to make it a little more interesting with your ultimate business stationery checklist.

It doesn’t matter if you are a newbie or a veteran in the business world, there are just some bits of printed stationery that no business can live without. Whether you only need a few items on this list or the lot, you must make sure your business stationery is well designed, coordinated and professional to ensure you are leaving a good lasting impression of your business.

By following our business stationery checklist, you will be surprised by the amount of positive feedback you will receive.

Business Cards

Your business card is more often than not one of the first impressions that someone will have of your company. Therefore, it’s vital that you present something high-quality, aesthetically pleasing and also informative.

Everything matters when it comes to business cards, from the layout and design to the feel and weight of the paper! Luckily for you, DigitalPrinting.co.uk have already covered these topics to ensure that you present the best impression of your company.

Luxury Business Cards

The main difference between our luxury business cards and business cards is the thickness of the card. A standard business card would be around 300gsm but luxury business cards start at 540gsm and can reach a thickness of 1190gsm – that’s 4 times thicker than a normal business card.

So, if you are looking for something premium, that’s high-quality, then our luxury business cards are your answer.

As we have mentioned before, business cards are essential for a good impression – so why not make it a lasting connection too?

Letterheads

A company letterhead is so versatile that it’s a must for every business’s stationery drawer.

Company letterheads are documents that include a heading containing important business information such as your company’s logo, name, address and contact information. As we mentioned above, company letterheads are so versatile can be used for a number of things such as invoices, minuting notices, legal tenders and memos.

Letterheads will add a sense of professionalism and establishment to otherwise bare documents. They are also a great tool to break the ice with new customers and clients, legal correspondence documents and also enhance your business’s reputation and reinforcing your brand’s core values.

Compliment Slips

Compliment slips are more often than not forgotten about in regard to printed business stationery – however, this doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t use them.

They’re noteworthy to add to delivery orders, brochures, or even sending to an individual to thank a customer.

This is simple, but very personal and valuable piece of business stationery will not only reinforce your brand. Adds a tangible piece of appreciation and human touch to your business which your customers will be grateful for.

Appointment Cards

Appointment cards are an easy and simple way to stop those all but costly no-shows!

They are a piece of card that contains your company’s logo, name, contact details and address. Used to confirming meetings with clients, appointments, and they are a great print to work alongside online promotional work.

On top of this- they also ensure your customers and clients turn up to their meetings/ appointments. Nothing more frustrating than spending all of your time preparing for an appointment to have your client not turn up! By providing them with an appointment card it not only ensures they remember their next meeting with you. Also encourages them to turn up on time, and also have your all-important information in hand.

Never take appointment cards for granted: they are an important piece of marketing that showcases your company. They add professionalism, an opportunity to add a personal touch and a good final impression using business stationery checklist.

If you’re looking for an eye-catching, budget-friendly way to stand out from the competition, then why not consider vehicle signage? After all your vehicle is a key asset for most small businesses, and it offers the perfect platform to generate huge brand exposure.

Business benefits of vehicle signage

1. Gets your brand noticed

Just think of all the kilometres you clock up driving to and from work – or between jobs during the day – and all the cars and pedestrians you pass by as you go about your business – all with the potential to become valued customers.

2. Increases customer reach

Your vehicle signage has the potential to boost business anywhere it can be seen. For example, if you’re a tradie busy working in someone’s homer than your vehicle signage is continuing to work hard promoting your business to neighbours and passers-by.

3. Inspires trust and credibility

Branding your vehicle also shows people you’re serious about your business and helps build their trust. Taking the time to invest in professionally designed signage also shows your targets you care and inspires confidence that you’ll take care of your customers too.

4. A cost-effective solution

If you have a vehicle for your business, then vehicle signage offers a cost-effective way to promote your brand. It’s an investment that fits with most small business budgets and with the potential to reach so many targets then it’s also going to give you a great return.

Types of vehicle signage to consider

1. Vehicle wraps

Choose from full or partial vinyl vehicle wraps* that, when heated, fit to the contours of your vehicle perfectly. The result is a high-quality wrap that looks like part of the paint-job of your car.

2. Vinyl lettering

When you don’t need a full vehicle wrap, vinyl lettering offers a cost-effective and high impact solution. The letters and/or images can be applied directly to any flat area on the vehicle.

3. Ute tray signage

A noteworthy option for trades looking to promote their business, ute tray signage is constructed using hard-wear aluminium materials and coated with UV protection to extend the life of the sign.

4. Vision windows

Made from vinyl, with perforated holes, this signage looks like advertising from the outside, but the ‘one-way vision’ technology means you can still see out of the glass while you drive.

Tips for effective vehicle signage

1. Go big or go home

Remember, you’ll be on the road and most of your audience will be in a moving vehicle too, so big clear lettering and high contrast colours are a must for your vehicle signage.

2. Keep it simple

For the same reasons, your message should be able to be read quickly. You don’t need to list every product or service you offer, stick with the most important message and one preferred contact method.

3. Go high quality

The Aussie climate is tough, so it’s significant to use high-quality materials. Higher quality vinyls will withstand regular cleaning, last longer in the elements, show less wear and tear and generally look better.

4. Be a good citizen

Having an advertisement with you wherever you go means that you’re always representing your brand. So, whatever you do, stick to the speed limit and draw attention to your vehicle for all the right reasons!

At the end of the day, if you’re already using a vehicle for work, and you don’t have vehicle signage, then you could be missing out on the perfect opportunity to advertise your business. With the right signage your vehicle can become a mobile billboard, attracting attention and potential customers wherever you go.

Want to decide which types of large format printing to use? Let’s go over 6 of the most popular types, focusing on key components and distinguishing their pros and cons. Consider this a guide to help you choose the most appropriate printing method that will enable you to stand out from the crowd.

Type 1. Solvent Ink jet Printing

Solvent ink jet printing is used to produce massive business signs. The inks used in this method are solvent-based. They are able to dissolve and bind well with all types of substrate materials. They even work on vinyl and other types of plastics.

Pros: This printing technique allows you to create bold and durable graphics. The solvent evaporates after printing, yielding a permanent result.

Cons: Though they grant a long-lasting effect, experts consider solvent printers risky due to the hazardous fumes they produce. Despite this, a great number of industries use this type of large format printing.

Type 2. Aqueous Ink jet Printing

Water is the main component of the ink in aqueous ink jet printing, as its name indicates. Though flexible in usage, they’ll turn out a permanent product only when paired along with lamination.

Pros: It’s environmentally friendly and doesn’t require additional ventilation. Produces supreme resolution, yielding high-definition image reproductions.

Cons: Special coating like lamination is required for more permanent applications. In addition, the main substrate used for this method is paper fabric, which is more expensive.

Type 3. UV-Based Printing

This is the most effective technique among the various forms of large format printing. The way it works is different. The drying system utilises ultra-violet rays parallel to the printing process. Thanks to this, no drying time is required after the printing is complete. Being a leader in the industry, we utilise this method along with the latest technology for maximum quality assurance.

Pros: No coating is necessary for UV prints, making them more cost-effective. UV-curable ink dries immediately and is ideal for outdoor signage. It results in prints that are sun and fade-resistant, sustainable and incredibly vibrant.

With UV printing, you can get custom banners without the need for lamination. Surprisingly, it’s also more cost-effective than the aqueous printing method. Moreover, it’s one of the most utilised types of direct printing on any rigid material. You can use this technique to print on and make wooden signs, vinyl decals, aluminium signs, acrylic signs, etc.

UV printing is odourless and ecologically friendly. It creates a pleasant atmosphere in the workspace as well as for the natural environment. UV-based printing leaves a clean and clear signature.

Cons: Requires special equipment.

Type 4. Latex Printing

Latex and resin-based inks are the latest discoveries in the printing industry. Like aqueous printing, latex is also water-based. Heaters must be installed and used to make the ink bind to the substrates as well as to dry it after printing.

Pros: Latex printing is not harmful to surroundings and the environment. It yields a vivid look for signage applications and is acceptable for use in any location.

Cons: Latex printing is energy-consuming due to the use of heaters before and after the printing process. It pairs only with highly durable substrates that can endure high temperatures. It’s more expensive, although there has been a noticeable decrease in prices recently.

Type 5. Dye Sublimation Printing

This is a great way to print on synthetic fabrics for quality purposes. The images that result from this form of direct printing are crisp and colourful.

Pros: Vivid colouring and sharp imagery are the strong suits of dye sublimation printing.

Cons: This form of banner printing works specifically with light-coloured materials with a polymer coating. It requires special inks that are more expensive. It’s slower than any other ink jet printing technique.

Type 6. Plotter or Pen Printing

As the name suggests, this form of direct printing involves pens that draw on the print material. Digital printing companies also use plotters for their production. Pen printing, also referred to as plotter printing, provides high-quality line drawings.

Pros: The method is more accurate than traditional printers when it comes to line drawing.

Cons: Plotter and pen printers take much longer than regular or advanced printing techniques. In the world of high-tech, quicker forms of banner printing like digital and UV have come to replace plotters.

Your corporate branding strategy sets the bottom line for either failure or success. It’s the blueprint for all future communications. Developing a corporate branding plan is vital to defining a persona for your company.

Service promotions, whether offline or online, are a basic part of how to do corporate branding for a new company. They’re also integral to the performance of established enterprises. Tangible solutions such as business signs, lighting and interior visuals are the silent yet continuous representatives of your business personality.

In this article, you’ll learn about corporate branding elements that can make all the difference for your economic growth. To tie them all together, we’ll refer to corporate branding techniques that will optimise their effectiveness. We’ll also share quotes from notable entrepreneurs to inspire you at the end.

Corporate Branding Basics to Make Your Mark

Every brand has its foundation on a core set of principles. Revealing this is imperative for making solid connections. Once you align your brand and your beliefs, you’ll cultivate a community you can rely on for collaboration.

Keep reading about corporate branding basics to learn how you can create a distinctive voice.

1. Corporate Branding Elements for Your Individuality

Shaping a singular identity around your values and services is not easy. It’s a complex task that requires exploration and expertise.

Let’s see how to do branding for a new company and improve on previously established ones by generating a custom corporate branding strategy.

Define your purpose

The values and characteristics you choose are an indication of your work philosophy. They will help your clients understand what you stand for before they make a selection among competitors.

Set up your vision

Your vision should be the centre of everything you do. A vital corporate branding tip is to integrate your mission with your inspiration. It’s the driving force of your corporate branding basics and will determine how your company moves ahead.

Act on your mission statement

This should direct your corporate branding plan. It will give your team focus and your consumers clarity about your business activity. Make sure it’s not just a statement but an ongoing practice.

Reveal your value proposition

The best way to brand your company is to offer real value. This is one of the most important corporate branding tips for success. It’s the solution to your customers’ problems so leverage it to the fullest.

Specify your target

Companies usually make their offers towards specific groups of consumers. You should know who you’re talking to and target your vision to an audience that will appreciate it. If you speak the same language as your customers, you’ll create genuine experiences and results.

Be extra, not ordinary

Consumers seek the extraordinary, so your corporate branding strategy must offer solutions uniquely. Find an approach that pertains entirely to your identity and exceed your own expectations.

Be original

Once your corporate branding strategies are truly yours, you’ll gain confidence about your place in the market. Stand out from outmoded companies by setting your own positive principles and following through with them.

Be sincere

Customers are now savvier than ever before when it comes to marketing tricks and techniques. The best way to do corporate branding without turning clients off is by being transparent. Sincerity generates reliability and converts to loyal customers.

Be brave

How to do branding for a new company like a pro? Start taking risks. Your approach won’t suit every audience. Clear the way of distractions and get on track with the right niche. Experiment only with those corporate branding techniques that correspond to their needs.

Be real and emotive

Free yourself from the corporate branding basics that rely on a mechanised formula. Your campaign shouldn’t be based on tricky tactics but rather on real offerings. Focus on the human element and always retain a personal touch.

2. Corporate Branding Techniques for Creating Your Visual Identity

Your core values are the heart of your plan. Once you have them in theory, it’s time to express them in visual form. Corporate branding basics centre around a logo that lays the foundation for a consistent aesthetic.

Below, find a few corporate branding tips on how to make your visual marketing as powerful as possible.

Establish an appealing logo

If you want to leave an impression on your clients, start with a memorable logo. The characteristics of your logo should consider a buyer persona. Descriptive logos that blend textual and visual elements are the trendiest at this time.

Studies show that 60% of companies use non-descriptive logos while 40% prefer descriptive ones. Descriptive logos create positive associations with your company. They favourably influence consumer perception when done well.

Apply corporate branding techniques right at the entrance

Robust imagery is important since most people perceive you through visual media. It’s a persuasive form of communication that’s shaped through the visual elements.

Attach bold letters to welcome your guests

Bold 3d letter signs are head-turners in any venue and ideal for all occasions. They create a strong message and draw attention to your objective. Complementary lettering in key places will complete the image of your corporate branding basics.

Put welcoming notes at the door of your premise

The first piece of decor people see is the welcome display upon entry to any site. If you’re wondering how to do branding for a new company, first things first. You need to capture the attention of your audience.

Entrepreneurs often look for a welcoming design with a classic look. They’re not just for show; they provide an important service for your visitors.

Using your company and event name along with a slogan will tell a comprehensive design story. The right signage will become the focus of your corporate branding strategy and instill a positive mood.

Install guides with your branding
